For professionals

Referral guidance and patient preparation notes for colleagues who send patients to us for hearing, hearing aid and cochlear implant care.

Who we work with

ENT surgeons

Diagnostic audiology, hearing aid evaluation and cochlear implant candidacy assessment, with findings shared back where the patient agrees.

Paediatricians & neonatologists

Follow-up after a failed newborn screening, and assessment where a parent raises concern about hearing or speech development.

Audiologists

Second opinions, complex fittings and long-term device support, including verification and fine-tuning.

Speech & language professionals

Hearing assessment for children and adults in speech therapy, and support for device users through rehabilitation.

Referral guides

When to refer for a hearing assessment

Persistent difficulty following conversation, asking for repetition, tinnitus, or a family member raising concern.

Paediatric hearing referral

Failed or inconclusive newborn screening, delayed speech milestones, recurrent ear infections, or parental concern at any age.

Hearing aid referral

Confirmed hearing loss, or limited benefit from an existing device. Please advise the patient to bring their current aids.

Cochlear implant referral

Severe to profound hearing loss with limited benefit from appropriately fitted hearing aids. Candidacy is confirmed only after full evaluation.

Preparing your patient

Ask the patient to bring any previous audiograms, current devices, a list of medications and, for children, a parent or guardian.

Refer to our centre

Send the patient's details and our clinical coordinator will take it from there. To discuss a case first, call +91 99663 83222.

Professional FAQs

How quickly is a referred patient contacted?

Referrals are treated as priority enquiries. Our coordinator aims to contact the patient the same working day and always within the centre's published response time.

Will I be told what happened?

You receive referral status updates — referral received, patient contacted, appointment scheduled, assessment completed, follow-up required or case closed. Detailed clinical findings are shared only with the patient's agreement.

Do I need to send clinical records with the referral?

No. Send only what we need to contact the patient. Bring or send prior audiograms later if they are available.

Can I refer a patient who has already visited the centre?

Yes. We link your referral to their existing record rather than creating a second one, so their history stays in one place.
