Patients are seen by qualified audiologists, assessed thoroughly before any device is discussed, and supported through fitting, rehabilitation and long-term follow-up. Your patient stays your patient — we share findings back with you where they have agreed to it.

Areas we support

• →Failed newborn hearing screening, or parental concern about a child's hearing or speech development
• →Suspected or confirmed hearing loss requiring diagnostic audiology
• →Limited benefit from appropriately fitted hearing aids
• →Severe to profound hearing loss where cochlear implant evaluation may be appropriate
• →Sudden change in hearing (please advise prompt review)
• →Requests for a second opinion on hearing or device management

What happens after a referral

2. 2We contact the patientOur clinical coordinator reaches out and arranges a suitable appointment time.
3. 3Assessment or consultationThe patient is assessed by our audiology team at the centre.
4. 4Appropriate care pathwayFindings are discussed with the patient and the next steps agreed together.
5. 5Referral statusYou receive referral status updates where the patient has agreed to us sharing them.
